168 | FOCUS TIME + Tips to Get Back on Track After an Interruption

It seems like we are living in a world where the attention span for most of us continues to decline. When we are feeling overwhelmed with tasks, this lessened attention span makes it especially important to create “focus time” so that we can really dive into the task at hand with less distractions. Focus time blocks helps us be more productive, reduces mental strain, and at the same time helps give us time back in our days!

While we can have the best of intentions for our focus time, in reality, it’s inevitable that we will eventually get interrupted. It might be a phone call or text notification, your kiddos might need you, or a colleague pops into your office. When you get interrupted, it can be really hard to get back on track unless you have a plan.

So in this episode, let’s talk using focus time AND how to refocus when you’re thrown off course.
